We seek an Executive Chef for a newly built senior home based in Red Deer County (Innisfail) Alberta. Full time position.

Working with a full kitchen staff in a large well equipped modern kitchen, we seek an individual to ensure high standards are consistently delivered. This position manages the kitchen and oversight of the dining room (wait) staff. The role involves scheduling, menu planning, budgets, staff management and all facets of food cost (ordering, receiving, and inventory).

The ideal candidate would bring a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the senior’s care home environment. At all times the Executive Chef should be professional, articulate, friendly, a people person, enjoys training others, and enjoys the passion of good food.

The role ensures all statutory regulations are adhered to, and to ensure that all employees uphold the conditions of the food hygiene regulations, and deal with appropriate dietary restrictions, and ensure a safe workplace.
