Food Service Supervisor –Full Time and Casual

Your Contribution:
As a member of our food services team located in Chilliwack, you will provide the highest quality of customer service at all times. This role assists dietitians to plan and supervise food service operation, plan menus and diet under direction of dietitian as well as assist in supervising personnel who prepare and serve food. You will also assist dietitians with research in food, nutrition and food service systems. You will also lead and direct a team through their daily activities within this unionized environment. You will also foster a strong safety culture within the team as well as grow a strong engaged team.

Essential Skills:
CSNM Certification or in process of obtaining certification (Nutrition and Food Science Degree can challenge exam for certification)
Excellent documentation skills
Working with CBORD an asset
Excellent communication
Finding information
Computer use, various MS Office products
Experience in a hospital setting is preferred
Strong safety background (Food and Physical safety)
Excellent interpersonal skills
