Temporary Part-Time Position

Location: Sudbury, Ontario

 

Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking a Food Service Quality Assurance Associate on a temporary part-time basis from November 2017 to July 2018 with the possibility of an extension.

 

The successful candidate must have completed an approved Food Services Supervisor Course. The successful candidate must be eligible for membership in the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management and Ontario Food Service Supervisors Association. The successful candidate should possess knowledge of both therapeutic and general nutrition and should possess knowledge of modern food service delivery systems. Previous experience in institutional food service and distribution is preferred.

Education and Training:
  • Must have completed an approved Food Services Supervisor Course.

  • Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.

 

Knowledge/Skills

Ability:

  • Proven leadership and problem solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.
  • Commitment to customer focused service and continuous quality improvement.

Personal Suitability:
  • Criminal record check satisfactory to the Hospital is required.
  • Demonstrated positive work record and good attendance record.
