Key Account Manager - Foodservice - Ontario

Our client, a North American based manufacturer of branded and private label consumer packaged goods, has been successful in  creating healthier choices  across the different consumer channels. As the categories and the company's portfolio continue to grow, so does their need to strategically grow their team here in Ontario. Therefore, this position is new for the company. Based in and covering all of Ontario, the Key Account Manager - foodservice, is responsible for ongoing business development with new and current customers within the foodservice segment that includes long-term healthcare facilities, hospitals and other foodservice operator partners across the province. This role is also expected to work closely with the company's foodservice distribution partners to ensure product distribution and contract execution. The ideal candidate for this role has at least 5 years of measured sales success in the foodservice industry here in Ontario. Because the vast majority of your time will be spent calling on the regional healthcare operators based in Ontario, you must truly be a “road warrior”! You also bring a solid understanding of the foodservice channel here in Ontario. Preference will be given to those candidates who have direct experience calling on operators based in the healthcare facilities listed above.
