Nutrition Services Manager
Dauphin Regional Health Centre, Dauphin, MB
Full Time Permanent position (HR Posting#: PMHMGT182174)
The Manager Nutrition Services shall be accountable to the Regional Manager Nutrition Services and/or Area Manager Nutrition Services and is responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, evaluation and operation of the Nutrition Services at designated sites within Prairie Mountain Health.
Qualifications:
• Graduation from a 2-year CSNM Accredited Program in Food Service and Nutrition
• Management or Bachelor’s degree with a major in Foods and Nutrition or equivalent
• 3 Years of Nutrition or Food Service experience in a Health Care or institutional setting.
• Demonstrated leadership and managerial ability.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in employee and labour relations.
• Province of Manitoba Class 5 Driver's License, and access to a personal vehicle to provide service within the
Prairie Mountain Health.
• Demonstrated experience in initiating changes and improvements, including skills in workplace re-engineering
within a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) environment.
• Ability to prioritize in a changing environment
• Sensitivity to the human and political dynamics of health care management.
• Strong organizational, decision making and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop Policy & Procedures.
• Ability to display independent judgment.
• Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population.
• Ability to respect and promote confidentiality.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position on a regular basis.
