Core Function
:
Assist the Executive Director in providing clinical leadership over dietetic care service that complies with evidence informed best practices, relevant government legislation, policies and standards that reflect the organization's resident centred approach, vision and strategic direction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Dietetics or Applied Human Nutrition, (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Be a legally qualified Registered Dietitian licensed to practice in Ontario
Minimum 3 years experience, including experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and Long Term Care
Demonstrated ability and experience in building relationships, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary team
Excellent problem recognition, analysis and resolution skills required
Excellent time management skills required
Excellent decision making and problem solving skills required
Computer literacy required
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English and Chinese
Relevant satisfactory work performance
Working Condition:
Exposure to all resident care elements through regular resident contact
Occasional shift work, including days, evenings, and weekends
Occasional travel and on-call responsibilities
The incumbent will be required to provide casual support to all long-term care homes of Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care and will be required to travel to the respective location as such
