As we enter March and finally begin to welcome spring back after a long winter, I’m pleased to highlight some exciting milestones and updates with you. After many years of hard work, we proudly launched our brand-new website and refreshed branding in February. I hope you’ve had a chance to explore the new site and have found it more user-friendly. We designed it with you in mind, ensuring it better serves your needs and reflects who we are as an organization. If you haven’t checked it out, please do and let us know what you think.
As you know, March is Nutrition Month in Canada. It’s a time to celebrate the vital role Nutrition Managers play in supporting the health and quality of life for those in our care. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the dedication you bring to your work each and every day. As leaders, I encourage you to use this opportunity to celebrate the teams you support. The success of any department truly echoes the contributions of its members, and we couldn’t do it without them.
With Board nominations now closed, I want to extend my sincerest thanks and best wishes to all who were nominated. Your willingness to contribute to CSNM’s leadership and to dedicate your time to the betterment of our society is deeply appreciated. Good luck!
Finally, don’t miss your last chance to take advantage of the Early Bird pricing for the Annual CSNM Conference, Harvesting Change, taking place June 10–12 in Winnipeg. We’ve secured some excellent speakers, and you won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn, network, and connect with colleagues from across the country. Early bird pricing ends on March 15th, so register today!
Wishing you all a wonderful month and a successful start to the spring season.
